Arab International University had the honor of welcoming H.E. Mr. Stefano Ravagnan, the Italian Ambassador to Syria, in a visit aimed at strengthening cultural and educational relations between both parties and exploring new horizons for academic and scientific cooperation.

During the visit, the Ambassador was given a comprehensive tour of the university campus, which included the faculties, advanced laboratories, research centers, and sports facilities. In the official meeting, both sides discussed future opportunities for cooperation in areas such as student and faculty exchange programs, organizing joint conferences and workshops, as well as opening doors for AIU graduates to pursue their postgraduate studies at leading Italian universities.

H.E. the Ambassador expressed his admiration for the academic and technical level the university has achieved, commending its architectural design, infrastructure, and the educational environment it provides for students. He also highlighted the important role AIU plays in supporting higher education in Syria.

The university expresses its sincere appreciation for this significant visit, reaffirming its commitment to strengthening academic and cultural ties with Arab and European countries that are dedicated to advancing education and scientific research.
